由國立政治大學英語教學資源中心主辦，商學院英語商管學程協辦的全英文模擬面試於2024年11月23日舉行。主辦人楊健威博士邀請五位政大校友擔任面試官，包括來自Agoda、GSS、星展銀行、Turn Capital及麥肯錫的專業人士。他們根據學生履歷與背景，模擬真實的職場面試，並提供具體的回饋建議。

模擬面試為「雙語與職場應用」及「進階商業口語實務」課程的重要部分 ，由楊健威博士授課，結合履歷撰寫、面試技巧與職場實務訓練，幫助學生全面準備未來職場挑戰。參與的26名學生分組進行面試，每場約15分鐘，並接受面試官即時且具體的建議，包括履歷改善、面試技巧提升與職涯規劃指導。活動開放校內師生觀摩，促進學習與交流。

學生對此次模擬面試高度評價，認為挑戰自身應變能力並獲得寶貴建議。 一些學生表示經過專業回饋後更有信心面對未來面試，並對職涯發展方向更為清楚。觀摩師生也從活動中獲得啟發，增強對職場需求的理解，並反思教學創新與輔導方法。這次模擬面試成功連結教室與職場，彰顯「雙語與職場應用」課程對學生全方位能力培養的重要價值，成為國立政治大學英語教學資源中心的一次標誌性活動。

On November 23, 2024, the NCCU EMI Resource Center successfully held an English mock interview, supported by the ETP program, College of Commerce. The session was hosted by Dr. William Chien-wei Yang, who invited five distinguished NCCU alumni with extensive professional expertise and career experience as interviewers. These included professionals from Agoda, GSS, DBS, Turn Capital, and McKinsey. They simulated realistic workplace interview scenarios based on the students' resumes and backgrounds to provide in-depth and actionable feedback.

This mock interview was a crucial part of the Bilingualism and Workplace Applications and Advanced Commercial Oral Training courses, designed to bridge classroom learning and real-world practice. Taught by Dr. Yang, the courses cover essential skills such as resume crafting, interview techniques, and workplace communication to prepare students for future professional challenges. A total of 26 students participated in the event and were divided into groups. Each interview session lasted approximately 15 minutes, with interviewers providing immediate and detailed feedback on resume improvements, interview techniques, and career planning. To foster learning and collaboration, the event was open to faculty and students across disciplines for observation.

Students gave the event high praise and noted that they acknowledged the opportunity to challenge their adaptability and receive invaluable advice. Several students noted that the professional feedback boosted their confidence and provided clearer direction for their career paths. Observing faculty and students also found the event inspiring, gained insights into workplace demands, and reflected on innovative approaches to teaching and advising. This mock interview event not only bridged the gap between the classroom and the workplace but also highlighted the profound value of the ‘Bilingual and Workplace Applications’ course in cultivating students' comprehensive skills. It was a milestone event for the NCCU EMI Resource Center.
