The NCCU EMI Resource Center, supported by funding from the Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College, operates within the framework of the Bilingual Education and Multicultural Promotion Office. This office is devoted to establishing inclusive guidelines and measures that encompass curriculum development, teacher training, student learning, and campus infrastructure, all aimed at enhancing EMI courses and English-taught programs (ETPs) across diverse academic units.

Serving as a central hub, the EMI Resource Center consolidates a diverse array of English resources, incorporating materials used in English-taught courses and programs. Its primary objective is to assist both teachers and students in improving their English proficiency, particularly focusing on writing skills. Additionally, it offers training for teaching assistants to enhance their teaching pedagogy using English.
